Yakuway Indigenous Corporation aims to:

Open and operate a centre to support the health and wellbeing of Indigenous people, in particular elders

Promote community development by acting as a resource for the community and stakeholders in the areas of health and connection to the community.

Act as a central place to facilitate the exchange of information and skills, participation and maintenance of Indigenous and non-Indigenous health,  healing and knowledge for the community.

  • “Uncle Malcolm and Evis were amazing in the way they explained the stories and artwork and what they all meant at the sacred sites. They had a great knack for explaining things with simplicity and in a heart centred way.”

    Kerri, Ipswich, Queensland

  • “Thank you to Malcolm and Evis for a wonderful day of sharing and learning about your country and the stories of your families and their journey. I feel very blessed and honoured to be a part of it. Loved it.”

    Amanda, Brisbane, Queensland

  • “Thank you so much for showing us these incredible sites. I really appreciated the respect, joy and humbleness with your teachings and you both being so open and standing in such sacred masculine. I was moved deeply by Evis sharing about the Rainbow Serpent at Biame Cave and the sharing Uncle Malcolm gave of his father’s teachings. I wish you all such deep love and respect.”

Emma, Warrundjeri Country, Yarra Valley Victoria
